They are made (http://www.break.com/index/the-meanest-parents-in-the-world.html). I went through this exact same **** with a nintendo when I was 9 and boy I still hate my dad for it.

Comment said he got it afterwards... they just did that because he snuck and found it before hand. Haha, I snuck once and found my BB-Gun... but I still got it. I got caught looking for it though, that part sucked.

I dint get an empty box I got a Nintendo. I played it for a few hours and then some people showed up at my home and my dad told me he dint buy it, he borrowed and now we have to give it back.

i was lucky, my brother got an NES when i was still too young to enjoy it...so it was there when i was old enough, and when SNES came out, we got that too :)
