View Full Version : Changing DRAM:FSB Ratio?
I have a DFI LP UT P35 motherboard and I am trying to find out where to change the DRAM:FSB ratio on this thing. EVEREST is showing that its at 12:8 right now.
it's usually under the overclocking section in your BIOS along with all the CPU FSB setting and Voltage settings.

Do you have the latest BIOS? The newest one is dated 2008/02/14.
I believe if you go into the BIOS, under the initial Genie BIOS Setting, there is a sub menu called DRAM speed ... if you select that, that will put you into the menu that allows you to change the strap/divider ... now I am recalling this from my DFI Blood-Iron P35 motherboard ... I think that the two are very similar. This is a chart of the strap/divider settings that should be available:
200/667....3:5
200/800....1:2
266/667....4:5
266/800....2:3
266/1066...1:2
333/667....1:1
333/800....5:6
333/1066...5:8
Remember that Everest is reporting DDR2 so if the strap/divider is set to 333/800 which is 5:6 ... DDR2 makes that 10:12
Can you post a pic of the Everest screen? How about a CPU-Z shot of the memory?
AK
Ok so I must have been correct. Thats what I have been messing with.
Here are the Everest and CPU-Z screens.
