Also, i'm not sure if i need a quad...i don't think i do, just a faster dual core will be fine...anymore recommendations? i'll stick a quad in this mobo when all you terds are buying nehalems...that's how i roll...but if i can get a quad for cheap i will for sure...

Well as I said, the E3110 = E8400, and you can get E3110s unlike the E8400s, if you want it now of course.

Though, since you are Mr. Mid-Range, I think you should get a nice E4500 or something ;)

and then i'll pick up a 2gb kit for now, and get another 2gb when i upgrade my graphics next fall/winter...Intel CPU's aren't picky with 4 sticks of RAM like AMD CPU are they??

Nah, I run Dominators and Mushkin HP2s which have different timings even and it works fine.

No need to go with DDR3 on this board: (DFI LT X48-T2R (http://www.motherboardpro.com/DFI-LP-LT-X48-T2R-DDR2-Motherboard-X48-Chipset-Crossfire-Ready-X48-Motherboard-p-540.html)) ... it uses DDR2 and the X48 chipset is just binned higher and uses less voltage ... plus it has 1600MHz FSB capabilities ... makes it a better choice right now ... DDR3 is still a tad too expensive and there hasn't been that big a boost in performance over DDR2 right now ... though I do admit it's just around the corner ... but I have 8GB of decent DDR2 memory so I don't see it as a waste ... I am sure I can get the Q9450 or E3350 up to 4GHz on air easily and run it 24/7 ... just wait and see ... I feel the force ... :D
