..... i've custom-ordered a huge-arse radiator.

I had no penny for a DangerDen Black Ice XtremeIII Radiator (http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=4&cat=85&page=1#tabs), so i'd improvised and hunt for similar radiator and custom-ordered the head and barbs to accommodate either a 1/2 or 3/8 barbs ;)

Louvred fins, flat tubes :D

The ones lying on the table had similar dimensions to Black Ice Xtreme III radiator, whilst the upright ones had dimensions of W(200MM) - 66.5% Wider than BlackIce W(133MM).

Why i did it:
DangerDen Black Ice Xtreme III Radiator (http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=4&cat=85&page=1#tabs) - US$64.95

1X Radiator same spec & size with Black Ice Xtreme III & 1X Radiator 66.5% wider than Black Ice Xtreme III - US$38

Savings : US$26.95

owh gosh, i've been saving a lot through all these years from copy-cat'ing and custom-modding my PC parts lol :p
More Pics, and improvement logs will come later ;)

P/S : And, the specific reason i do this is comixion. He'd reach 4ghz and i would love to join the 4ghz club. Hate noise, thus more radiator to dissipate the heat while maintaining the same level of rpm on the cooling fans ;)

Yup, that's cheap all right ... :p Hope it works out for you, Zefram ... Let us know what fans you use and how they'll attach ... ;)

Double Sided Tapes could do the job

Or, i could screw the fans, using the fins as the screw-hole. The fins are tough, and i think it'll hold the fan well. Rubber grommet would absorb the vibration nicely ;)
