Boot nonsense

Yesterday morning and this morning (and many to come probably...) I keep getting an error on my new pc while loading in the bios before vista is loaded.
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
After I try to start up 4 or 5 times it stops and Vista loads. But I'm not planning on doing that forever and I only got this pc for less then 2 days. Its working great and I have no problems or complains except for this. Anyone know what this means? Specs are in my sig (that refuses to get smaller).

That would mean the motherboard/BIOS can't find your hard drive. However if it works after 4-5 times, it's either a power issue, loose cable or the hard drive is on it's death bed.

Or, it could be a knee-jerk reaction towards overclock. And did you say you just had this computer?
BIOS problem may also manifests itself in such problem!

1. Open up your case and make sure all cable are properly and securely connected.

2. Check your peripheral jumper placements(i.e. Master, Slave, Cable Select, etc.)

3. Set boot device priority in the BIOS.

4. Perform a BIOS update. If no newer version of BIOS is available, reflash with current revision.

5. Check for HDD errors once in Vista.
