What's a good GPU only water-cooling kit, pump, res. all included?

Oh...for the 4870

No different than the parts needed for a CPU loop just that you wouldn't have a CPU block.

DO NOT buy some cheap arse kit.

Have you got the 4870 yet Comixion?

Not yet...thanks to AK.

He mentioned the 4870 X2 coming out in a couple weeks and it stalled me.

But I'm wondering if it's even worth anything to me since high res over 1680x1050 is no use to me. I use a 22"
I'm trying to resolve that mystery.
the 4870 may be just what I need.

Well i use a 22 incher with 2 9800 Gtx's and althogh i'n not fully utilising all that 'SLI' power there are still significant improvements in frame rates , especially if your going to be playing games like Crysis.

Hmmmm...

Good enough for me.

Now if the card would come out. If this 4870 X2 is what they say it is at $500 then I may wait.

So have you written off the idea of a GTX 280?

Well, Comixion, ole buddy ... Just get the HD 4870 X2 when it's available, I'm getting one as well. What I'll do for you is tell you how nice Crysis looks on my 28" LCD 1080P flat-screen monitor ... then you'll feel the need to upgrade your monitor to take advantage of the higher resolution capabilities of those fantastic ATI pieces of silicon you have. I mean, you do want to upgrade, right? :D

AK, is this your monitor? - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254026

It's on sale, $60 off and free shipping... considering the average shipping price for a 28" lcd seems to be 32 bucks from the egg, that looks like a pretty sexy deal... I wish I didn't have so many bills :(

...Comixion, you probably don't have tuition to pay... c'mon, get that monitor... you know you want it... It'll be the perfect excuse to get a better graphics card ;)

Only 800:1 contrast ratio. Seems a bit low now-a-days...

Personally 1920x1200 is stretching it a bit on a 28" LCD. You're 2" away from 30" with 2560x1600 yet 4" beyond the 24" which is also 1920x1200. However I know they do it to keep the prices "affordable". Plus it's only a TN panel too...

30" would be an eye killer. But I would take it.
