Scythe KAZE JYU SLIM: 100x100x12mm (http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/035/sy1012sl12_detail.html)
I used to have a 140x20mm fan on my side panel, but the HDT-S1283 is so tall that I couldn't close the panel. Hopefully the Scythe is slim enough to fit. I'm sure a lot of you have run into the same problem so I thought I'd post this. It's 100mm, which nobody uses, but it also has 92mm mounting holes.

My advise is : Don't Buy It, unless you don't have any other choice!
Why? Contrary to popular belief, more blades (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceiling_fan#Bases_for_comparison) doesnt mean it could move more air. Plus the turbulence would create noise. I've the thermaltake UFO fans which have the same amount of blades on those Scythe fans, and it's noisier than fans with lesser blades (at the same speed).
Just my two cents :teeth:

Well it's pretty much the only option I have. A 20mm fan is too fat and I haven't found any 15mm thick fans that are larger than 80mm.

I know kaze is japanese for wind... Anyway don't you have to cut a hole yourself to place this one?
I've the thermaltake...
There's your problem right there :p
