I installed a 2nd Xigmatek fan for pulling. The motherboard is not in yet but I'm expecting it to line up with one of the 2 120mm rear case exhaust fans.

You should install the fans after the heatsink is on the motherboard...
But I'll assume you already knew that :p

Where's the pic of the heatsink on that new Gigabyte board?

I'll get one in a few. It's all together and working fine but my dam internet wont work.:( Keeps saying there is a problem with the Realtek drivers yada yada. But I installed them from the disc.
I have no green light when I plug in the ethernet cable

Did you enable them in the BIOS? You have a spare NIC card lying around? Download the new ones from Realtek if you can get an extra NIC card in there ... ;)

Didn't have to. I downloaded the driver from Gigabyte's site and it's working fine now. I guess the ones on the disc were crappy.
I have not even been in the BIOS yet. Must go check it out and disable the onboard audio device

I'll need to go to get the new BIOS when my GA-EP45-UD3P shows up ... it's in Anchorage ... arrived on the 7pm flight from Louisville. Probably be in Fairbanks Mon and in Tok on Tues. ;)

And yes, it's a good site IMO. Pretty straight forward.

That Xigmatek cooler might have finally met its match with the new Ultra 120 Extreme Copper (http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_page/product_page/cpu/true-copper/product_cpu_cooler_t_copper.html). Its going to be a heavy weight, literally, weighting in at 1.9kg.

i saw that.... although i am still holding my breath untill Frostytech gives it a review. if it's only gonna be 1-1.5 degree C of difference i don't think it's worth the extra paper weight.

not frostytech, but from the reviews linked at the bottom part of the thermalright page, results are pretty good.
