Well what have I done...
Put Ubuntu on my XPS m1330 laptop since the Intel WiFi Link 5300 card I bought refuses to work in Vista (32/64bit). Not the greatest reason to switch but I have and well I'm going to try and get used to it.

OMG Is that under warrenty?! I've been thinking of trying a Linux partition again... Ubuntu decided not to work correctly last time I tried it. I think I should take crash corse first. I was really out of my element with it.

I keep telling myself to get on the Linux bandwagon. I downloaded the latest Ubunutu (ubuntu-8.10-desktop-i386.iso) but have yet to find a rig to put it on. I have so much stuff to do and very little time ... Man, I am beginning to think I might need a gopher up here ... ;) Comixion?

Yes I do and on the maximum setting :)
Sitting at 400MB RAM usage, no swap usage, while installing VLC. Something Vista could never imagine doing :p

Are you talking about the WiFi Link 5300? If so, that was an upgrade of my own which I bought off eBay. I'm still contacting the seller to see if he knows what's up with it.
