$200 for a keyboard and $100 for a (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/mice_keyboards/devices/4956&cl=us,en) and gamepad (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/5123&cl=ca,en) is ridiculous. Sure they both have screens on them (like gamers really stare at their keyboard/gamepad while they're playing) and look cool, but seriously? This sh!t is becomming right down ridiculous, I mean think about it, a gaming mouse + keyboard will cost you around 1/3 of your entire system (cpu, mobo, ram, gpu, HDD, etc). And I'm being genrous here, just remember my recent upgrades to quad core 775 with mobo and ram cost $500 and they want at least $300 for this crap.

Sorry Nova I already beat you to this.

And

I will be buying the G13 for sure (and it's only $100 CAD, It's $79 US). And I'm still on the fence about the new keyboard because it's the only Mac one. And I have some things I could use the LCD for.

Yo could one of the mods do me a favour and remove natakus' threads for me? K thanks bye :D

Note that I replied to one of them, but this kind of price gauge/BS requires multiple complaints. I'm not complaining about the $200 keyboards since we live in a "free market", just the fact that it seems retarded.

And yea dude, I don't understand how a gamepad can cost more then my mouse+keyboard setup (Logitech wireless + logitech MX Revolution) combined.

Don't forget the MX revolution was $69 (by it's self) when it was first released. That's what I paid for it. This is new tech so it's always going to be pricey for early adopters.

US$69?

I paid RM380 (US$120) for it. I pre-order that sh*ts and you'd pay for that 'early bird' exclusivity.

And the keyboard......... my Microsoft Wireless Natural keyboard still doing great, and i bought it back in 2004. And i'd pay RM580 (US$184) for it (the desktop set includes a wireless optical mouse).

But again, that was the time when wireless cost an arm and a leg. Plus, we third-world country people got ripped off when we buy PC hardware's :fighty:

And logitech ain't crazy. They just 'following' the market trend of creating product for 'premium' segment. Microsoft sell the Desktop 8000 (mouse & keyboard) (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=080) set for US$299. So Logitech asking price is on par with what their competition goes for :p

Ya see Nova, when things are marketed as "Gamer" products, it automatically means they can jack the price up 200% :p

Yeah , its the same with BMW cars. You can buy mazda 6 with better engine , better class car , more extras and etc for half of the price of a new BMW 3 , just cuz its BMW the price is going to the roof. Top Gear - Geremy clacksonn said : If you put a badge of BMW on a dead cat head you can sell it :P

Brand name thats it :P When you hear Logitech what is the first thing it cames to your mind :P
