View Full Version : How long have you had your computer?
So it hit me today that I purchased my computer back in sep-oct of 2006. The computer is still running strong as ever!
With a few upgrades. Ram, Hard Drive, Graphics card I have no reason to upgrade to a new computer any time soon.
So I was wonder. Who here is using (still) the oldest computer?
It has to still be running, and would prefer it still be in use in your home/office. :thumb:
My new one is from November 25th last year, my old one is from February 2007. My old eMachine is sitting in a box 5 feet away and I have a really old P3 600mhz PC somewhere in the garage.

the oldest working system i have here is sporting an asus tx-97 mobo, k6-2 @ 390~, 256mb ram, 2x voodoo 2's, sound blaster 16 isa, and a pci ati rage i think

Those opty 146's are stout little CPU's aren't they?
I have a Dell from 2001 that I now use as a file storage box & internet radio receiver. I just realized typing this that the thing is now 8 years old. wtf.

Ok, this particular HW?, and all together in one case?, about 3 months. And that's a record.
