Interesting Observations

I went clubbing two days ago.

Around 2.30 pm, on the way back to my car, i passed by a 7-eleven, and in front of it, there's more than three groups of people, each watching a 'checkers (English Draughts) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Checkers)' match by the roadsides.

Apparently, the old man accept challenge from anyone, and each game has a minimal bet of RM80 (US$25). Interestingly enough, there's lots of observer for such an odd games, at an odd times, and at a oddly enough location (by the roadside infront of 7-eleven?)

It's illegal gambling, although as you could see in the picture, there's no money to be seen. If there's no money visible, the policeman here don't give a sh*t.
Plus they would had good time catching underage kids drinking and stuff :p

And i'm currently residing in Penang Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penang), a tourist and industrial island in Malaysia :D

And yes, those checkers are made off alcoholic beverage bottle tops. Talking about recycling :dev:

I saw a bum sleepling outside a 7-11 the other day, didnt think to take a pic to share tho. He wasnt playing checkers or anything, I think he was drinking mouthwash instead.

I'd prefer a more subtle places like, a pub to consume alcoholic beverages. Club are just too crowded for you to enjoy the drink. Really. :fighty:
