Win 7 codec´s error

Well,I have Win 7 running,so far,everything OK or was OK!
I can´t run Win Media Center,it says "decoder error".So I tryed to install Win 7 codec´s,but didn´t fix the problem!Allways when I turn off the PC,it seems that Windows is trying to install an update "update for Windows 7 Beta KB 963660" but after a while it says "error code 80070643".So,this update is for Win Media Center codec´s,but Win can´t install it,allways gives an error!
What can I do?

If you aren't running AT LEAST Build 7000, you shouldn't be running it at all.

Sounds like your running a pre-Beta version.

not sure its relevant, but i had issues with audio drivers, caused media player to crash on me

This is what it says on Review your update history :

Well I don't know. I'm running Build 7057 and have no issues with codecs.

The RC is coming out in May so maybe you're best off waiting for that and then upgrading.

Beta software is full of bugs and well it looks like you found one :p

I'm running build 7000 in a virtual machine and so far everything has been running very well. This is probably the first Microsoft OS I'll move right over to w/o any delay.
