It's hard to understand without being a native speaker; these are like puns.

"I had to pick the bishop" sounds like "I had to pick the b!tch up".

When Mexicans say the "ch" sound, if often sounds like "sh" and vice versa.

Well I guess you can I can post this nonsense without being racial since my wife is Spanish and she emails all this spammage to me on a daily basis.
I found it kinda amusing since I have heard it all my life living where I do and about 75% of my c0-workers are Spanish. And some can't even speak English! So it's an everyday thing for me. Even they get a laugh out of it.

Haven't been able to find anything like that when it comes to Alaskan Natives ... but like you Comixion, the Boss sends me some neat stuff about the Alaskan Injuns ... but I can't find anything decent to post at the moment. I'm just glad to be back and seeing that you guys haven't missed a beat ... :thumb:

Just cause I border with the USA, doesn't mean anybody up here speaks Spanish. At the most, French but none of that transfers over to this.

And well even if French is our 2nd official language, I'm guessing Chinese or Hindu/Tamil/etc far out-number the French-speakers.

Can't say I really have, well not interacted with any at least.

Mainly Asian/East-Asian people around here. White people are definitely a minority in a lot of communities within Toronto. Outside of the city in the suburbs it's not as bad.

I'm trying to avoid being overly racist...

Let's just say certain cities are known for certain races. Toronto is fairly mixed I guess but it's heavily weighted towards the people of colour.

I don't know about the USA, but it *seems* like you have more white people, but it's not like I've ever been down there. Though I guess at the same time, you have whole states that have stereotypes labeled to them.

I would have thought Canada would be mainly caucasian (sp?).
And you never been to the States?

And you never been to the States?I traveled through the Western side of Canada ... according to some of the locals we spoke with, British Columbia, Yukon Territories and the Northwest Territory are full of nothing but Cowboys and Natives ... a few Asians and not many Mexicans. Except for the few Mexican restaurants we saw.

When we got stranded outside of Whitehorse (busted wheel on the utility trailer) we conversed with a few old Canadian curmudgeons working at the Petro Canada truck stop. They definitely had a French accent mixed in with the Canadian jargon.

By the time we all got back home, we were all speaking with a "Canadian" accent ... :D

I will say that most of the Canadian folks we met were not too friendly. Only a few were nice. At the Canadian Super Store in Whitehorse, I asked a sales person if they had La Croix sparkling water ... she asked if that was an American thing and I said I really didn't know, I just thought they would have it because it sounded like a French thing ... she got real b*tchy and said that they didn't carry anything American ... Whoaaa!!

What rudeness!! Anywho ... I just got the hell out of there and gave them the one finger salute on my way out ... ;)

lol Yukon and NW Territories, uhh yeah definitely not going to be much other than white people there, probably the least populated parts of Canada. They are probably very similar to your Alaska (which I still say is part of Canada :p)

BC is supposed to have a ton of Asians though since it's easy to get to from Asia.

Strangely i'm attacted to women of different races than my own. Never had relationship with girl of my own race. Lol

Anyway, when i was in europe, i gotta say, British people are darn polite, and when you cross over to mainland europe, the french attitutes are a total reverse of British. They're generally rude, and obviously they aren't too friendly with foreigners.

So............. any comment on the french part of canada? :D

Yup, Quebec = Assh0les. <-period

Montreal = worst drivers in Canada which happens to be in Quebec.

Quebec has even gone as far as trying to "break off" of Canada and become their own country. Like WTF? They planned to build walls around the entire place and basically isolate themselves.

I believe it had something to do with charles de gaulle. His famous quote, "Viva Le Quebec" seem to stir up sh*ts back then :p

Well, let see, if i'm not mistaken, during the american revolution, U.S armies did try to venture into canada but being denied so by the british army.

And, about alaska, we all knew that america practically bribed the russian tsars to give them the land
