tweaking internet connection...

where do i go to even think about changing any of these values? are they going to be in the router or in the internet options? any ideas guys? trying to get the most from my connection! any one else use this site?

i did some tweak program, i think the one crax said to, and my ping in games jumped from like 20 to 200....i aws kinda pissed. the surfin the net seemed faster tho, it was werid lol. i just set it back to normal


edit: if your net connection sux, its worth a try, if its descent like mine id leave it alone

its not bad but a little more speed for free is always a nice thing to have! its like overclocking i guess, something extra for nout i will see how i go..

It has alittle program called the TCP Optimizer (down the left side) where you can change some of those settings.

well i think its made a very slight difference, but it asked if i wanted to re start and i said on, so maybe when i have restarted it will be 10x faster again who knows, if its done a small amount of good, all the better thanks for the advice very helpfull!!
