    Default Best LCD Monitors

    Hey all,

I don't really have much experience with monitors but I'm looking for a good quality 17" LCD monitor with good response times (so less trails) that can be gamed on. If I could get some suggestions on what brands to consider and which ones to stay away from that'd be great. Even better if you can reccomend specific models, thanks alot!

LOL. I'm eager to move to an LCD as well. Unfortunately I spoiled myself with a 21" CRT, so I will settle for no less than a 20" LCD. Too much money for me.

i used to have a iiyama 22" monitor and im going to get a viewsonic 19" 12ms lcd screen when i finally upgrade my pc. im looking for the tft screen simply because of the space and the lack of that i have. the iiyama monitor was amazing, it went up to 2048x1536 at no less than 85hz (show me a tft or lcd monitor that does that!) but there where other bad things for it, like it sheer size of it. the fact that it weighed more then 30kgs wasnt a good thing.. it just had to go when i moved out from my ex girl friends place..

to be honest, im looking forward to getting this viewsonic monitor. its looks nice and is small but a nice sized screen and i cant go wrong with the 12ms response time. only time will tell

I'm using a 17" sceptre LCD bought off of Newegg********** and have it coupled with a 9800 pro. I do alot of gaming and have been impressed with it. It also has a protector on the front that I diden't see before on any other LCD i bought. I don't have any dead pixels and it doesen't lag.

    Would suggest it.

    I recommend samsung and benq

And I suck at cs cause the stupid 10 yr olds that play it piss me off. Only halflife mod I play is the specialists, its awesome. Other than that I stick to far cry and BFV...
