Default IE maximize problem

i was wondering if any of you knew how to fix this:
when i maximise internet explorer (to fill the whole screen), the window fills the whole screen but its shifted downwards so there is a gap at the top, and a part missing at the bottom

this is kinda annoying as im missing part of my IE.

does anyone know what's wrong or had a similar problem?
(this only happens with the IE window)

thanks

Never heard of that problem before... Maybe it's a known bug, did you try updating your windows software?

That's weird! Maybe it's something with your taskbar. Have you moved that around lately?
