Default Can't remove dummy programs from Add/Remove in WinME

I havn't been able to remove a couple of dummy programs from my add/remove.
I Couldn't find them using Run>Regedit>HKey_Localmachine>Software>Microsoft>WIndows>CurrentVersion>Uninstall.
Is there another way I can get rid of them? I'm trying to reinstall one of the programs and it acts as if its still installed.

Hey AlphanumericSux!

That registry hack only works if you have already uninstalled the program but is left inside Add/Remove Programs.

What I would try if I were you is, remove all the entries of that software in the registry.

I tried that also. I deleted everthing I could find of that program (after uninstalling) and it still remains in my add/remove. I still cant install the program because it thinks it's already in there.

Hmm... That's a very tough one there.

Hmm, if your uninstalled program is still in the Add/Remove programs I would think you deleted the wrong directory in the uninstall folder.

What program are you having difficulties with?

Just a couple of games. I deleted the files I found from the above path. When that didnt work I deleted everything I found with those program names. Still didn't work.
