are you talking about yahoo messanger?

if so uninstal it that will fix your problem lol ... lol j/k

actaully outlook exrpress is naturally a pain in the ass. try looking for another mail application. you may have better luck with normal outlook.

Anyway CompSnake, check out Trillian's website... You can use many different forms of IM all at once with one program.

Does it just freeze when running YM? If everything else is ok, then it's not a hardware problem rather a software conflict...

i get the feeling you meant to write "my" lol

does outlook express totally freeze your system or does it just lag for a a bit then work?

do you have msn messsanger turned off? (guessing you are running winxp?) if you are go to c: -> program files -> rename the "messanger" folder to "messangeroff" this will disable the im client from turning on when you start outlook express and should allow it to open much faster without the freezing effect or lag effect.

note: doing this will totaly disable messanger and it will not be able to be used .. if you use it then go to tweakxp.com and look for some of the various other ways of turning it off in outlook express.
